Moissanite Engagement Rings

EXCELLENT FOR EVERYDAY WEAR

Moissanite is a lab-grown, eco-conscious and increasingly popular choice that is tough and hard, making it excellent for everyday wear. I know it seems like Moissanite has come out of nowhere but it's just that it finally rivals that of a DEF colour diamond. As an official retailer of Charles & Colvard Moissanite, I've been working with Moissanite for the last decade and have seen such a dramatic improvement in it's colour the past few years that Moissanite engagement rings are an easy choice for so many.

Makes Economic Sense

The early versions had such a yellowish tint in the larger stones and it was tough for me to look at let alone consider using in a custom engagement ring. Now that they are actually comparable to diamonds I do get people asking if Moissanite is just a lab-grown diamond. Lab-grown diamonds are like natural earth-mined diamonds in every way except they are grown in a controlled laboratory setting. Lab-grown diamonds are on average 30% less expensive than their natural counterparts and Moissanites are about 80% less. Holding it's own, Moissanite engagement rings make sense for clients who are concerned with earth mining stones and cost. Charles & Colvard also have a limited lifetime warranty on their stones over 4mm so if you do purchase a Moissanite, don't forget to register it.

Otherworldy Beginnings

Moissanite, originally discovered in 1893 in a meteor crater, is a very rare and scarce mineral. Moissanite as we know it today is almost exclusively lab grown. To give some context here's a graphic created by Moissanite makers Charles & Colvard that show you the differences between Moissanite and other gemstones.
